Beginners' Class
Classes are offered to those who are new to Buddhism and would like to learn more about our practice and lineage. We go over service manner at Temple and home. We also learn about chanting of the Lotus Sutra, Odaimoku, Home Altars and other questions as time permits. These classes are offered on a monthly basis. Please check the Calendar for dates. A rough syllabus of the classes is given below along with recommended books. Of course, the Dharma is best spread from person to person but books are a good tool for learning. Please feel free to email or call a Buddhist teacher when you have questions about what you have read and are learning.
We will be offering a video version of our Biginners' Class in the near future. Please check back and go to our Video page for updates.
