NICHIREN SHONIN'S WORDS
We are not easily born coming to this world as a human. Moreover, it is difficult to meet the true teachings of Buddha even if we are born as a human. We seriously have to receive this precious teachigs. "shogumondo-sho"

"Higan" means "the yonder shore". To leave this shore (this world) for the yonder shore (the Buddha's pure land) means to leave this world of suffering for the world of enlightenment by practicing the teachings of the Buddha. This is the time for us to reflect on our daily lives, vow to follow the Buddha's path, and observe memorial services for our ancestors.
Please wear your Gyo-e, if you own one.
