NICHIREN SHONIN'S WORDS
Empty words come out from our mouth and bring back misfortune.  True words
come out from the bottom of our heart and  bring back good fortune.
"Omonsudononyobo-Gohenji"

HELLO!
March is the month of Spring Higan.  Although last month was cold and windy,
it is getting warmer and calmer.  Please take care of yourself.  Here are
our announcements for this month.

REV. MAEDA IS COMING BACK
Rev. Maeda has accomplished his 100 days Dai-Aragyo and will come back as a
kito minister.  We would like to welcome him.  He is going to hold the
Kizanshiki Kito Service on Sunday, March 5, 2006 at 10:00 am.  After the
service, lunch will be served.  Please join for this special kito service.

FUJINKAI MEETING ON MARCH 5

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES ON  MARCH 5 & 19

DIRECTORS¹ MEETING ON MARCH 12
The directors¹ meeting will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2006 after the

SPRING HIGAN-E SERVICE ON MARCH 19
The Spring Higan-e Service will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2006 from 10:00
a.m.  We suggest that all of you attend the service.  The Higan-e Service is
held during the weeks of spring and autumn equinoxes.  Higan, together with
o-bon, is an important annual event for Buddhists.
³Higan² means ³the yonder shore².  To leave this shore (this world) for the
yonder shore (the Buddha's pure land) means to leave this world of suffering
for the world of enlightenment by practicing the teachings of the Buddha.
Therefore, these two weeks in spring and autumn are especially important
periods of practice for Buddhists.  This is the time for us to reflect on
our daily lives, vow to follow the Buddha's path, and observe memorial
services for our ancestors.
Please wear your Gyo-e, if you own one.

SUNDAY SCHOOL MEETING ON MARCH 26
Sunday School meeting will be held on March 26, 2006 at 9:00 a.m.

THANK YOU FROM SUNDAY SCHOOL
Mahalo to everyone who helped make our children's Activity Day ³ get
together² a success.   Our 13 children and 40 adults enjoyed the camaraderie
by playing games, winning prizes and meeting each other.   We hope to see
you all again and welcome all the children to our Sunday School classes.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES
The annual membership dues are $10.00 per month or $120.00 per year.   Our
Temple is maintained by your membership fee so we would appreciate your
kokua in this matter.   Thank you.
