The Seattle Nichiren Buddhist Church belongs to the Nichiren Shu lineage of Buddhism. We follow the teachings of the Eternal Shakyamuni Buddha as set forth in the Lotus Sutra. |

Upcoming events: On Sunday, September 18th at 3:00 p.m. we will hold our fall Ohigan service led by Rev Chisin Hirai. Prior to the service, Rev Hirai will pay visits to cemetaries as follows: 10:30 a.m. Sunset Memorial Cemetary 12:00 noon Lake View Cemetary 1:00 p.m. Washelli Cemetary On Sunday, September 25th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. we will be having our annual chow mein sale. This is our biggest fund raising event of the year. Please support us by buying a chow mein dinner or other delicious food item. On Sunday, October 16th at 2:00 p.m. Bishop Shokai Kanai will conduct our Oeshiki service. |
